Mr TUDOR (Yarra) .- I trust honorable members will agree to the new clause. Honorable members opposite advocate open competition, while we on this side stand for Government monopoly ; but I propose to support the clause because it will permit others to come here and erect refineries1, and will nob permit the people of Australia to be swallowed by the Anglo-Persian Oil Company.
