Dr EARLE PAGE (COWPER, NEW SOUTH WALES) - In that regard, I confess I do not quite understand the position.. The Crown holds one more than half the total number of shares, and it has a right to nominate three of the directors, but the Bill is not sufficiently explicit to show whether the Government shares have any say in the voting for the remaining four directors. If they have, we have no reason to complain1 as regards the control. For the reasons I have given, I am heartily in accord with, and will support, the amendment moved by the Leader of the Opposition.
