Sir WILLIAM LYNE (Hume) (Minister of Tirade and Customs) . - That would not quite meet the case. The only amendment that I could consent to would be a provision which would throw the onus of proof that he was innocent upon the person having the spirits in his possession. I shall have to recommit other clauses in the Bill, and I shall consider the question of framing anl amendment to achieve the object which the honorable member has in view.
