Mr FISHER (Wide Bay) . - It seems to me that we should be acting wisely if we specified the various years during which the bonus of £50,000 is to operate. Under the Minister's amendment it would be quite possible for him to disburse £100,000 one year, nothing the next vear, and £300.000 for the following year.


Sir William Lyne - The expenditure is governed bv the schedule.


Mr FISHER - I think that a matter of principle is involved, and not a mere detail.
