Mr BAMFORD (Herbert) .- Regarding the suggestion of the honorable" member for Echuca, that the Prime Minister should move in favour of the abolition of private members' business for the remainder of the session, I should like to ask what course the Government intend to adopt in reference to the motion of the honorable member for Moreton relating tothe appointment of a Lieutenant-Governor for Papua. That motion is a very important one, and I desire to know if the Prime Minister will afford the House an opportunity of further considering it, and of coming to a division upon it.
