Mr BRUCE SMITH (PARKES, NEW SOUTH WALES) - In the newspapers to-day the Prime Minister is reported to have stated that a commercial convention between the Commonwealth and New Zealand -had been signed by Mr. Seddon before his death, and that it would be laid upon the table of the House before the next election. I should like to know whether the convention was also signed on behalf of the Commonwealth, and, if so, why it cannot be laid upon the table of the House before the next election?
