Mr GLYNN (Angas) .- I desire to add at the end of sub-clause 3 in the proposed amendment the words " including the name, address, and occupation of any person upon whose statements he may have acted."


Mr JOSEPH COOK (PARRAMATTA, NEW SOUTH WALES) - That amendment can be made afterwards.


Mr GLYNN - I think that we ought to go further still, and make liable to costs the man upon whose wrong information the Comptroller-General mayact..


Mr Isaacs - We propose to do that by amending clause 20.

That after the word " person," line 2, the words "hereinafter called the importer" be inserted.
