Mr McCOLL (Echuca) .- I request that the usual courtesy be extended to the motion I had on for discussion today, and that I be permitted to move that the resumption of the debate be an order of the day for this day week. The dinner hour intervening in the discussion, it was impossible to make the necessary arrangements. I move -

That the resumption of the debate on this question (interrupted this day by Government business being called on) be made an order of the day for Thursday next, and that Mr. O'Malley have leave to continue his speech when the debate is resumed.

Question resolved in the affirmative.
