Mr MAUGER (MELBOURNE PORTS, VICTORIA) asked the Prime Minister, upon notice -

Do the Government intend to give effect to the following resolutions adopted by the Senate, vis. : -

(a)   Abolition of the grading system under £150 per annum, and each officer to reach, that amount by increments?

(b)   Better allowances to officers in remote districts ?

(c)   Substitution of a Stipendiary Police Magistrate or a Judge as Chairman of Appeal Boards, instead of the Inspector ?
