Mr POYNTON (Grey) - Will the Prime Minister see that it is provided in the regulations that the Minister must furnish an annual report, giving the number of persons coming to Australia under the provisions of this measure, so that Parliament may know what is taking place?


Mr Deakin - We shall see that that is done.

Bill reported with amendments.

Motion (by Mr. Deakin) proposed -

That the Standing Orders be suspended to enable the Bill to pass through all its remaining stages without delay.
