Location: south-western Adelaide; it includes the suburbs of Aldinga Beach, Christie Downs, Christies Beach, Hackham, Hallett Cove, Huntfield Heights, Lonsdale, McLaren Vale, Maslin Beach, Moana, Morphett Vale, Old Noarlunga, Onkaparinga Hills, Port Noarlunga, Reynella, Seaford, Sellicks Beach, Sheidow Park, Port Willunga, Trott Park, Willunga and Woodcroft, and parts of Happy Valley and McLaren Flat.

Area: 171 sq km (approx.).

Electors enrolled: 98 715 (at 7.9.13).

Industries: construction, desalination, major retailing and various small industries including brickworks, optical lenses, clothing and engineering.

State electorates: Kingston includes the South Australian House of Assembly electorates of Kaurna, Mawson and Reynell, and parts of Bright, Finniss, Fisher and Mitchell.
