One Nation Senator Malcolm Roberts is the latest Federal MP to come under pressure over dual citizenship.

He says he renounced his British citizenship before nominating to join Parliament, but received no confirmation until six months after the last federal election.

Meanwhile, many newcomers to Australia are facing their own citizenship hurdles.
