TONY JONES: One of Australian soccer's best goalkeepers could miss the Beijing Olympics after
tonight being suspended for 15 months by the Football Federation of Australia.

Danny Vukovic came into contact with the referee in last night's A-League Grand Final which the
Central Coast Mariners were beaten one nil by the Newcastle Jets. He was apparently protesting
about a handball incident the referee missed during the match. Six months of the 15 month ban will
be suspended which means he can play in the A League again in November.

But the association is still considering whether the ban extends to the national team, which will
contest the Olympics in August. A decision is expected in about a week.
