Transcript

TONY JONES: International forces in East Timor have so far failed to find any of the 57 men who
escaped from Dili's Becora Prison yesterday. Security outside the prison has been much tighter
today as a combined task force of international police and UN peacekeepers continued their search
for the escapees. Among them is the rebel military leader Major Alfredo Reinado, a central figure
in the recent security crisis that enveloped East Timor. Authorities believe the men are now most
likely armed and after 24 hours on the run, they will not be easy to find.
