LEIGH SALES, PRESENTER: US authorities have charged a 24-year-old immigrant from Afghanistan with
plotting to use weapons of mass destruction in the United States.

Colorado bus driver Najibullah Zazi was arrested earlier this month. He's accused of acquiring a
large quantity of explosive, the same type used in the 2005 terrorist attacks on London.
Prosecutors say he obtained the necessary chemicals from common beauty products. It is alleged Zazi
learned bomb-making techniques while training with al-Qaeda in Pakistan and that he had detailed
notes on how to assemble bombs on his computer.
