LEIGH SALES, PRESENTER: Barack Obama is preparing for his fourth trip to the Gulf of Mexico oil
slick disaster area and the White House is putting more pressure on BP.

The US Government says it'll ask the energy company to set up a huge compensation fund for victims
of the spill.

DAVID AXELROD, SENIOR WHITE HOUSE ADVISOR: We want to make sure that that money is independently
administered so that they won't be slow-walked on these claims.

LEIGH SALES: The move comes as the slick spreads along America's gulf coast and also threatens the
white beaches of Florida.
