Economic woes fail to dent PM's popularity -

TONY JONES: The economic troubles plaguing the nation are failing to dent the Prime Minister's
popularity.

Tomorrow's Newspoll in the Australian newspaper shows Kevin Rudd has jumped again in the preferred
prime minister stakes to 65 per cent.

The Opposition leader Malcolm Turnbull has dropped slightly to 20.

But there's been no change on a two-party preferred basis, with the Government still leading on 56
per cent.
