   21   Death of the Honourable John Charles Bannon—STATEMENTS

Mr Turnbull (Prime Minister), by indulgence, made a statement in relation to the death of the Honourable John Charles Bannon AO.

Mr Shorten (Leader of the Opposition), by indulgence, also made a statement on the matter.

As a mark of respect to the memory of the deceased all Members present stood, in silence.

Mr Pyne (Leader of the House), by leave, moved—That further statements in relation to the death of the Honourable John Charles Bannon AO be permitted in the Federation Chamber.
