    24   Montara commission of inquiry —MINISTERIAL STATEMENT

Mr M. J. Ferguson (Minister for Resources and Energy), by leave, made a ministerial statement on the Government’s final response to the report of the Montara Commission of Inquiry and the Productivity Commission and presented the following documents:

Final Government response to the Report of the Montara Commission of Inquiry.

Commonwealth Government response to the Productivity Commission Review of regulatory burden on the upstream petroleum (oil and gas) sector.

Suspension of standing and sessional orders—Time for speech

Mr M. J. Ferguson, by leave, moved—That so much of the standing and sessional orders be suspended as would prevent Mr Macfarlane speaking for a period not exceeding six and a half minutes.
