*2855  Senator Rhiannon: To ask the Minister for Foreign Affairs—

(1) Has the Minister received reports that diplomats or people with links to the Sri Lankan Embassy and/or Sri Lankan Consulate in Sydney were photographing Australian citizens who attended protests outside cricket grounds in Sydney and Melbourne; if so, how has the Minister responded to these reports.

(2) Has the department informed the Australian Federal Police (AFP) and the state police in New South Wales and Victoria of these actions.

(3) Has the Minister’s office or department requested that the AFP and/or the state police in New South Wales and Victoria take any action in regard to these incidents; if so, what was the result of that request.

(4) Does the Minister consider the actions of diplomats or other officers associated with the Sri Lankan Embassy and/or Consulate photographing Australian citizens to be a form of stalking and intimidation.
