2730  Senator Faulkner: To ask the Special Minister of State—

(1) From 12 April 1996 to 31 May 1998 what was the total cost of: (a) airfares; and (b) travel allowance, paid for staff at the Government Members’ Secretariat.

(2) From 31 May 1998 to 30 June 2000 what was the total cost of: (a) airfares; and (b) travel allowance, paid for staff at the Government Members’ Secretariat.

(3) (a) How much air travel has been undertaken by Government Members Secretariat employees between 31 May 1998 to 30 June 2000; (b) which officers travelled; (c) when did they travel; (d) where did they travel to; (e) what was the cost of the airfares in each instance; (f) how much travel allowance was paid in each instance; and (g) what was the purpose of the travel.
