4       Therapeutic Goods and Other Legislation Amendment (Narcotic Drugs) Regulation—Disallowance

Statements by leave : Senator Lambie and the Minister for Communications (Senator Fifield), by leave, made statements relating to the vote on the motion to disallow items 1 and 4 of Schedule 1 of the Therapeutic Goods and Other Legislation Amendment (Narcotic Drugs) Regulation 2016 ( see entry no. 23, 11 May 2017 ).

Leave refused : The Leader of the Australian Greens (Senator Di Natale) sought leave to have the question put again. An objection was raised and leave was not granted.

Suspension of standing orders : Senator Di Natale, pursuant to contingent notice, moved—That so much of the standing orders be suspended as would prevent him moving a motion to provide for the consideration of a matter, namely a motion to provide that the question on the motion to disallow items 1 and 4 of Schedule 1 of the Therapeutic Goods and Other Legislation Amendment (Narcotic Drugs) Regulation 2016 be put again immediately.
