10    Deaths in offshore detention centres—Proposed suspension of standing orders

Leave refused : Senator McKim sought leave to move a motion relating to deaths in Australia’s offshore detention centres in Manus Island and Nauru. An objection was raised and leave was not granted.

Proposed suspension of standing orders : Senator McKim moved—That so much of the standing orders be suspended as would prevent him moving a motion to give precedence to a motion relating to deaths in Australia’s offshore detention centres in Manus Island and Nauru.
