5       Acts and Instruments (Framework Reform) (Consequential Provisions) Bill 2015

A message from the House of Representatives was reported transmitting for the concurrence of the Senate the following bill:

Message no. 432, dated 18 August 2015—A Bill for an Act to make provisions consequential on the enactment of the Acts and Instruments (Framework Reform) Act 2015 and other provisions relating to legislative instruments, notifiable instruments and rules of court, and for related purposes.

The Assistant Minister for Social Services (Senator Fifield) moved—That this bill may proceed without formalities and be now read a first time.

Question put and passed.

Senator Fifield moved—That this bill be now read a second time.

Debate ensued.

Bill read a second time.

No amendments to the bill were circulated and no senator required that it be considered in committee.
