9       Postponement

Business was postponed as follows:

General business notice of motion no. 519 standing in the name of Senator Leyonhjelm for today, relating to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, postponed till 18 October 2017.

The Clerk informed the Senate that Senator Leyonhjelm had lodged a postponement notification in respect of business of the Senate notice of motion no. 1 standing in his name for today, proposing the disallowance of the Competition and Consumer (Industry Code—Sugar) Regulations 2017.

Pursuant to standing order 67, the Assistant Minister to the Prime Minister (Senator McGrath) requested that the question for the postponement be put.

Question—That business of the Senate notice of motion no. 1 be postponed to 13 November 2017—put.
