Messages from the House of Representatives were reported transmitting for the concurrence of the Senate the following bills:

 Message no. 682, dated 6 June 2013—A Bill for an Act to give effect to the Convention on International Interests in Mobile Equipment as applied to aircraft, and for related purposes.

 Message no. 681, dated 6 June 2013—A Bill for an Act to deal with consequential matters arising from the enactment of the International Interests in Mobile Equipment (Cape Town Convention) Act 2013, and for related purposes.

The Parliamentary Secretary for School Education and Workplace Relations (Senator Collins) moved—That these bills may proceed without formalities, may be taken together and be now read a first time.

Question put and passed.

Bills read a first time.

Senator Collins moved—That these bills be now read a second time.
