ENVIRONMENT—MILLEWA FOREST—LOGGING

The Leader of the Australian Greens (Senator Bob Brown), pursuant to notice of motion not objected to as a formal motion, moved general business notice of motion no. 770—That the Senate calls on the Government to uphold the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 in the Millewa Forest by immediately stopping red gum logging.
