AUSTRALIA'S ECONOMIC POSITION-REMARKS OF SECRETARY TO THE TREASURY-ANSWER TO QUESTION

Senator Dame Margaret Guilfoyle, by leave, moved-That the Senate take note of the answer and supplementary information given by the Leader of the Government (Senator Button) in response to a Question without Notice, asked by Senator Dame Margaret Guilfoyle on 4 December 1986, relating to reported remarks of the Secretary to the Treasury (Mr Fraser) concerning Australia's economic position.

Ordered-That the debate be adjourned till the next day of sitting, and that Senator Dame Margaret Guilfoyle have leave to continue her speech on the resumption of the debate.
