CONSTITUTIONAL AND LEGAL AFFAIRS-STANDING COMMITTEE-REPORT ON CONSCIENTIOUS OBJECTION TO CONSCRIPTED MILITARY SERVICE-GOVERNMENT RESPONSE-MINISTERIAL STATEMENT-PAPER

The Minister for Resources and Energy (Senator Evans), by leave, made a statement responding to the Report of the Standing Committee on Constitutional and Legal Affairs on Conscientious Objection to Conscripted Military Service, tabled on 28 May 1985, and tabled the following Paper:

Constitutional and Legal Affairs-Standing Committee-Report on Conscientious Objection to Conscripted Military Service-Response by the Administrative Review Council, dated 12 September 1986.

Senator Evans, by leave, moved-That the Senate take note of the Statement.

On the motion of Senator Durack the debate was adjourned.

Ordered-That the resumption of the debate be an Order of the Day for the next day of sitting.
