Senator Durack, from 104 petitioners praying that the Senate request the Government to increase family allowances.

Senator Peter Baume, from 11 petitioners praying that the Senate reject the Australian Bill of Rights Bill 1985 and in the event of it being passed, retain the amended provision relating to the rights of trade unions.

Senator Peter Baume, from 127 petitioners praying that the Senate act to protect society from moral pollution and its harmful effects.

Senator Giles, from 13 petitioners praying that the Senate take action to ensure that legal barriers to equality between women and men in employment be removed.

Senator Peter Baume, from 9 petitioners praying that a Joint Parliamentary Committee be established to consider proposals for the design of a new Australian national flag.
