Senator Vigor moved an amendment, viz: Page 8, lines 22 to 24, leave out the Article, insert the following Article:

""Nothing in this Bill of Rights shall be taken to diminish, derogate from or prevent the exercise of any right existing apart from this Bill of Rights.''

Debate ensued.

Pursuant to Sessional Order, consideration of the Bill was interrupted.
