The House of Representatives transmits to the Senate a Bill intituled ""A Bill for an Act to protect Australia's heritage of movable cultural objects, to support the protection by foreign countries of their heritage of movable cultural objects, and for related purposes'', in which it desires the concurrence of the Senate.

Ordered-That the Bill may be taken through all its stages without delay.

On the motion of the Minister for Education (Senator Ryan) the Bill was read a first time.

Senator Ryan moved-That this Bill be now read a second time.
