CUSTOMS PROCEDURES-IMPORTATION OF GOODS-ANSWER TO QUESTION

The Leader of the Opposition in the Senate (Senator Chaney), by leave, moved-That the Senate take note of the answer given by the Minister for Industry and Commerce (Senator Button) to a Question without Notice asked by Senator Chaney on 9 October 1984 relating to customs procedures for the importation of goods.

Ordered-That the debate be adjourned till the next day of sitting, and that Senator Chaney have leave to continue his speech on the resumption of the debate.
