BROADCASTING OF PARLIAMENTARY PROCEEDINGS-JOINT STATUTORY COMMITTEE-REPORT ON INQUIRY INTO THE TELEVISING AND RADIO BROADCASTING OF BOTH HOUSES OF PARLIAMENT

The Acting Deputy-President (Senator Townley), on behalf of the Joint Committee on the Broadcasting of Parliamentary Proceedings, laid upon the Table the following Report: Televising and Radio Broadcasting of Both Houses of Parliament-Report that the Committee has been unable to complete its Inquiry, together with Transcript of Evidence (7 vols) and Extracts of Minutes of Proceedings.

The Leader of the Opposition in the Senate (Senator Chaney), by leave, moved-That the Senate take note of the Report.

Debate ensued.
