CUSTOMS SURVEILLANCE OF ABRAHAM SAFFRON-MINISTERIAL STATEMENT- PAPERS

The Minister for Industry and Commerce (Senator Button), by leave, made a statement in relation to the customs surveillance of Mr Abraham Saffron, in answer to a Question without Notice on 5 September 1984, and laid upon the Table the following Papers: Customs Surveillance-Abraham Saffron- Customs file containing copies of 22 documents relating to the customs surveillance of Mr Abraham Saffron.

The Leader of the Australian Democrats (Senator Chipp), by leave, moved-That the Senate take note of the Statement and Papers.

Ordered-That the debate be adjourned till the next day of sitting, and that Senator Chipp have leave to continue his speech on the resumption of the debate.
