CONCILIATION AND ARBITRATION AMENDMENT BILL 1984

-Message from the House of Representatives: The following Message from the House of Representatives was reported: MR PRESIDENT, Message No. 287 The House of Representatives transmits to the Senate a Bill intituled ''A Bill for an Act to amend the 'Conciliation and Arbitration Act 1904' and the 'Conciliation and Arbitration Amendment Act (No. 2) 1983' '', in which it desires the concurrence of the Senate.

On the motion of the Minister for Veterans' Affairs (Senator Gietzelt) the Bill was read a first time.

Senator Gietzelt moved-That this Bill be now read a second time.

On the motion of Senator Withers the debate was adjourned.

Ordered-That the resumption of the debate be an Order of the Day for the next day of sitting.
