CONDUCT OF A JUDGE-SELECT COMMITTEE-APPOINTMENT OF MEMBERS

The Deputy-President (Senator Hamer) informed the Senate that the President had received letters from the Leader of the Government (Senator Button), the Leader of the Opposition in the Senate (Senator Chaney) and the Leader of the Australian Democrats (Senator Chipp) nominating Senators Bolkus, Chipp, Crowley, Durack, Lewis and Tate to be members of the Select Committee on the Conduct of a Judge.

The Manager of Government Business (Senator Grimes), by leave, moved-That Senators Bolkus, Chipp, Crowley, Durack, Lewis and Tate, having been duly nominated in accordance with the Resolution of the Senate of 28 March 1984, be appointed members of the Select Committee on the Conduct of a Judge.
