ORDER OF BUSINESS-RE-ARRANGEMENT: Suspension of Standing Orders

The Leader of the Australian Democrats (Senator Chipp), pursuant to contingent notice, moved-That so much of the Standing Orders be suspended as would prevent Senator Chipp moving a motion relating to the order of business on the Notice Paper.

Debate ensued.

Senator Chipp thereupon moved-That intervening business be postponed till after consideration of General Business, Notice of Motion No. 35, standing in his name.
