REFERENDUM (CONSTITUTION ALTERATION) AMENDMENT BILL 1983-Message from the House of Representatives

The following Message from the House of Representatives was reported: MR PRESIDENT, Message No. 183 The House of Representatives returns to the Senate the Bill intituled ''A Bill for an Act to amend the 'Referendum (Constitution Alteration) Act 1906' '', and acquaints the Senate that the House of Representatives has agreed to Amendments Nos. 1 to 3 and 5 to 12 made by the Senate, and has disagreed to Amendment No. 4, set forth in the annexed Schedule, and for the Reasons shown therein.

The House of Representatives desires the reconsideration by the Senate of the Bill in respect of the amendment disagreed to.
