BRITISH NUCLEAR TESTS IN AUSTRALIA-AUSTRALIAN IONISING RADIATION ADVISORY COUNCIL-PAPERS

The Leader of the Opposition in the Senate (Senator Chaney), pursuant to Sessional Order, moved-That the Senate take note of the Papers:

British Nuclear Tests in Australia-A Review of Operational Safety Measures and of Possible After-Effects- Report by the Australian Ionising Radiation Advisory Council, dated 14 January 1983.

Statement by the Minister for Home Affairs and Environment (Mr Cohen).

Debate ensued.

On the motion of Senator Martin the debate was adjourned.
