CONSTITUTIONAL AND LEGAL AFFAIRS-STANDING COMMITTEE-REPORT ON ANNUAL REPORTS [ SEPTEMBER 1982]-GOVERNMENT RESPONSE- PAPER-MINISTERIAL STATEMENT

The Attorney-General (Senator Gareth Evans), by leave, made a statement relating to the Government's response to the Report of the Standing Committee on Constitutional and Legal Affairs on Annual Reports referred to the Committee [ September 1982], and laid upon the Table the following Paper: Constitutional and Legal Affairs-Standing Committee-Report on Annual Reports referred to the Committee [September 1982]-Government Response.

Senator Gareth Evans, by leave, moved-That the Senate take note of the Paper.

On the motion of Senator Durack the debate was adjourned.

Ordered-That the resumption of the debate be an Order of the Day for the next day of sitting.
