Senator Button moved-That the House of Representatives be requested to make the following amendment, viz: Page 7, clause 12, line 37, at end of the clause, add ''in respect of any period in relation to which the agreement, arrangement or indication, as the case may be, applies''.

The Deputy-President (Senator Hamer) resumed the Chair; and the Temporary Chairman of Committees (Senator Sibraa) reported accordingly.
