FOREIGN AFFAIRS AND DEFENCE-JOINT COMMITTEE-APPOINTMENT OF MEMBERS

The President informed the Senate that, pursuant to the Resolution agreed to by both Houses, he had received letters from the Leader of the Government and the Leader of the Opposition in the Senate nominating Senators Elstob, Hill, Jones, Lewis, MacGibbon, Sibraa and Tate to serve on the Joint Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defence.

The Leader of the Government (Senator Button), by leave, moved-That the Senators nominated be appointed members of the Joint Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defence.
