NOTICES

Notices of Motion were given, as follows- The Minister for Industry and Commerce (Senator Button), at the request of the Attorney-General (Senator Gareth Evans): No. 1-To move on the next day of sitting-That leave be given to introduce a Bill for an Act to alter the Constitution in relation to the duration of the House of Representatives, the terms of service of senators, the holding of elections for the Senate and House of Representatives, and the appointment, and the termination of the appointment, of Ministers of State.

No. 2-To move on the next day of sitting-That leave be given to introduce a Bill for an Act to alter the Constitution with respect to the inter-change of powers between the Commonwealth Parliament and the State Parliaments.

No. 3-To move on the next day of sitting-That leave be given to introduce a Bill for an Act to alter the Constitution so as to confer an advisory jurisdiction on the High Court.

No. 4-To move on the next day of sitting-That leave be given to introduce a Bill for an Act to alter the Constitution by removing certain outmoded and expended provisions.

Senator Peter Rae: To move on the next day of sitting-That leave be given to introduce a Bill for an Act to alter the Constitution in relation to proposed laws appropriating revenue or moneys for the ordinary annual services of the Government, and the dissolution of both Houses of the Parliament.
