REGULATIONS AND ORDINANCES-STANDING COMMITTEE-APPOINTMENT

The President reported receipt of letters, in accordance with Standing Order 36A , from the Leader of the Government and the Leader of the Opposition in the Senate nominating Senators to be members of the Standing Committee on Regulations and Ordinances.

The Acting Leader of the Government (Senator Grimes), by leave, moved-That a Standing Committee on Regulations and Ordinances be appointed, to consist of Senators Sir John Carrick, Coates, Cook, Durack, Lewis, Richardson and Tate, such Senators having been duly nominated in accordance with Standing Order 36A.
