CHANGES IN MINISTRY

The Leader of the Government in the Senate (Senator Sir John Carrick), by leave, informed the Senate that, on 11 October 1982, His Excellency the Governor- General had accepted the resignation of the Rt Hon. Sir Phillip Lynch, K.C.M.G., as Minister for Industry and Commerce and had appointed the Hon. A. S. Peacock as Minister for Industry and Commerce.

Ministerial Arrangements: Senator Sir John Carrick further informed the Senate that, during the absence overseas of Mr Street, Mr Sinclair would act as Minister for Foreign Affairs.
