Suspension of Standing Orders to deal with Bills together: The Minister for Social Security (Senator Chaney) moved-That so much of the Standing Orders be suspended as would prevent the Tobacco Charge (No. 1) Amendment Bill 1982, the Tobacco Charge (No. 2) Amendment Bill 1982 and the Tobacco Charge (No. 3) Amendment Bill 1982 being considered together in Committee of the Whole with the Tobacco Charge Amendment Bill 1982, and the Questions with regard to the remaining stages for the passage of the Bills through the Senate being put in one motion at each stage.

Question-put and passed.

The Senate, according to Order, resolved itself into Committee for the consideration of the Bills.
