RETIREMENT OF THE CLERK OF THE SENATE, MR K. O. BRADSHAW

The President informed the Senate of the impending retirement of Mr Keith Oscar Bradshaw from the office of Clerk of the Senate.

The Leader of the Government in the Senate (Senator Sir John Carrick), by leave, moved-That, on the occasion of the retirement of Keith Oscar Bradshaw from the position of Clerk of the Senate, the Senate places on record its appreciation of the long and valuable service rendered by him to the Commonwealth Parliament, and conveys to him good wishes for many happy years of retirement.

The motion, having been supported by the Leader of the Opposition in the Senate (Senator Button), the Leader of the National Country Party of Australia in the Senate (Senator Scott), the Leader of the Australian Democrats (Senator Chipp) and Senator Harradine, was agreed to unanimously.
