DEATH OF FORMER MEMBER, MR ADAM ALEXANDER ARMSTRONG, O.B.E., M.C

The Leader of the National Country Party of Australia in the Senate (Senator Scott) referred to the death, on 22 February 1982, of former Member of the House of Representatives, Mr Adam Alexander Armstrong, O.B.E., M.C., and moved-That the Senate expresses its deep regret at the death, on 22 February 1982, of Mr Adam Alexander Armstrong, M.C., O.B.E., a Member of the House of Representatives for the Division of Riverina from 1965 to 1969, places on record its appreciation of his meritorious public service and tenders its profound sympathy to his widow and family in their bereavement.

And the motion having been supported by the Leader of the Government in the Senate (Senator Sir John Carrick), the Leader of the Opposition in the Senate ( Senator Button), the Leader of the Australian Democrats (Senator Chipp), and Senator Peter Rae-
