ORDER OF BUSINESS-RE-ARRANGEMENT: Suspension of Standing Orders

Senator Grimes, at the request of the Leader of the Opposition in the Senate ( Senator Button) and pursuant to contingent notice, moved-That so much of the Standing Orders be suspended as would prevent Senator Button moving a motion relating to the order of business on the Notice Paper.

Senator Grimes, at the request of Senator Button, moved-That, unless otherwise ordered, General Business, Notice of Motion No. 54, standing in the name of Senator Evans, and relating to a further session of the Australian Constitutional Convention, take precedence of all other General Business this day.
